Bought an X300 and of course it has an issue or two...
Sounds like the switchpack was changed. But to be sure. Chek behind steering wheel under instrument cluster for the memory module. (Black box with 3 gray plugs) in the meantime you can set ur seat, steering wheel and mirrors as u wish and unplug the module. Then it wont move with keyfob. That could be a temp fix until you can find correct swithpack.

another thing you can do if you do find a memory module where mentioned before. set the memory manually by momentarily shorting the cables, in effect you will be manually doing what the switch buttons are ment to do. to do this you have to remove the door panel and have the switch pack easily available to work with. maraud explained the memory program method wich is to press the memory button and then the memory # you want to set it to. so start by setting your wheel, seat and mirrors to your preference then press the memory button (momentarily short cable BLUE/GREEN with PINK/SILVER). now press the memory #1 (momentarily short cable BROWN/ORANGE with BLUE/BROWN) you should hear the accept chime. now close car and check if it has programmed. since you dont know wich key you have; repeat the process to program #2. but this time after shorting the first set of wires for memory. now momentarily short cable BROWN/ORANGE with BLUE/PURPLE that should be the #2 button.
you can use a paper clip to do the momentary shorting. inserting the paper clip in the correct pins/wires of the harness plug.
hope this helps.
