I've been procrastinating posting this but I've crashed my Jag... there was some unmarked construction where they had removed the top layer of asphalt and left a manhole sticking out a couple inches. The car fell down into the dug out road and then smashed into the manhole cover. Hardest jolt I've ever felt in a car. Bits of the interior went flying all over. Oil pan is smashed, something in the front right suspension is very broken, and worst of all my passenger door no longer opens.
At this point the car has been towed to a shop to see what all is broken. But its probably totaled. I was already trying to sell it, occasionally driving it around trying to finish my OBD2 monitors.
The shop called back and wow.... holy carp. Its DEAD. Oil pan is cracked apart, which I clearly expected given the flood of oil, but the front subframe is cracked, the steering rack case cracked in half, the plastic "guard" under the front bumper is toast.
And here I thought the front suspension was what broke. No, its the whole subframe. Ick.
