A couple of things.........

Front and rear bumpers (fenders) can fall off due to corrosion of the two brackets holding them on. These are NOT expensive, but unfortunately are made of Mazak, ( I think called ZAMAK in the US) so they just dissolve away ! If bumpers feel loose, fix them soon before they fall off while you're going along, you can get the brackets easily.

Thumpy noises from rear end is usually the rear suspension A bracket bushes, again, not expensive.

 

Yea, when i go in reverse and then step on the gas, I feel a slight thud coming from the back. I thought it was the exhaust system briefly hitting the tires or something? How do I go abotu fixing this? Do I need to remove the bumbers?
