A/C tempt display getting dim

A/C tempt display getting dim
The display on the center consule that displays the tempt swettint for the A/C and heater controls is getting pretty dim during the day. At night with the lights on it is fine and can be read OK. But during the day it is very getting hard to read. Any ideas as to how to brighten it up.
