Default Can anyone help me identify this?

I replaced the reservoir sensor in my XJ today and everything is working fine. Before I button it up again, this plug is hanging loose and I can't identify it from the wiring diagrams. Anyone know if this is for the headlight washers I don't have? Something else I do have?

Thanks in advance.

Previous discussions seem to suggest this is as you suggest, the unused hookup for the non-existent headlight washer on your car.

I have the same capped and unused connector under the washer reservoir.

Al is spot on, it is indeed the connector for the power wash pump for the headlights.
There should be a dummy relay (identified by white stripe) located in front of the relay box on the right hand side. Connections are easily identified by the thick yellow/red wire.
I have attached relevant page from wiring diagrams.

Thanks for the replies. I don't have headlight washers so I just tucked it back in where it was.
