Can BPM be moved from one car to another?
I am curious to know if the BPM (body processor module) (LNA2500bb) can be moved from one X300 car to another or if like newer cars from the 2010's or 2020's it has to be programmed with the VIN of the car it is being swapped into?
Also I am curious to know where it is located and how to access it? The electrical guide says it is located in the "passenger's underscuttle".
How difficult is it to swap out?

The X300 BPM is plug and play , the later X308 has to be programed within a certain production group
The BPM is behind the glove box so that large panel has to come out , it slides down out of a caging rack so maybe a short cut , the caging rack has a very large plastic button that has to be pried out like an interior trim Christmas tree ( I used a thin knife to get started as starts out flush )
When removing the large interior panel keep careful track of the hardware position as the positions have different types so a pain , suggest cardboard method
The BPM connectors face car fwd so ensure they are on before the chore of removing BPM
