Question Correct routing for throttle cables?

I've attached a photo of how my throttle cables are currently routed.

One is routed along the firewall, and one is lying pretty casually across the S/C intercooler intake and valve cover.

Somehow I don't think the latter is likely correct as it seems too haphazard and isn't secured in any way as the cable lays across the valve cover?

The one along the firewall is also mostly unsecured and is wedged behind some other harnesses/hoses.

I can see there are/were some clips meant to hold one or both of these cables in place along the firewall and wiring harness, but those clips are all broken.

Question: Can someone provide some high resolution photos of the correct routing of both throttle cables so I can secure them properly before I get into adjusting them?

Here's a pic of my car that shows the cable routing...although I'm not quite sure if both cables are properly clipped into place.

Cheers

Thanks, that seems much more reasonable!

BTW whenever you work in the engine bay, particularly when leaning over the right fender, be mindful of where the cable connects to the traction control unit. That white plastic fixture/connector thingy will be very brittle and will break if you look at it wrong.

Thanks Doug, funny you mention that.... as I thought the same thing when I saw that plastic fitting. That "white plastic" (whatever type of plastic it is) is notorious about becoming brittle over time and easily shattering in any application I have seen it used.

The clips that held my throttle cable are broken and brittle, so I'll just use some velcro straps for now and see if I can source the actual factory clips from a wrecking yard over time.

Appreciate the quick response and photo!
