Default Crank position sensor FYI

Our car displayed the classic symptoms of a bad sensor, and after doing some shopping I found that Autozone listed a Wells brand part @ $109. Well, I'm not a big fan of their stuff, but the Dealer's $300 part and Advance couldn't supply it, so I took a chance and it arrived today. It is a genuine Lucas part with the Jag part number on it in a Wells bag, part # SU4719. Hope this helps somebody out there save a few bucks! I'm happy to report that 15 minutes with an 8mm wrench and all is well in XJ6 land!

That's going to be a huge find for the six cylinder crowd.
