Default Custom wood shift knob etching for XJR6

When I got my manual-gearbox XJR6, it had a nasty weighted metal shift knob which I replaced with a wooden knob from a junkyard S-Type. It felt great in my hand but it didn't look right without a shift pattern on it. I tried a sticker but the ink ended up rubbing off on my hand. After taking the sticker off, I took the knob to a guy near Boston who specializes in laser wood etching, and got the H-pattern lasered into the surface. I'm very happy with the results:

The lacquer on the knob is so thick that the edges of the design casts shadows on the knob, which you can see in the pictures.
