I have an xj6 3.2 1996, with 77k milage on the clock an have owned it for around 6 months the car drives superb. but the only problem being a very intermitent stallin problem, sometime when stopping as the car come to a halt it cuts out???? am not sure if this is an electrical problem??? it does seem to chug for a second befour stalling???? am thinking maybe a sensor? am no mechainic but would greatly apprieate any help thanx Tom

 

Check your fuel delivery system. Run some SeaFoam through the system first, and see if that helps.

 

have never heard of sea foam????, have tryed 2 tanks worth of 'red x' and that made no difference at all???

 

am really starting to think maybe a sensor on airfilter/exhaust
