Look for 12 volts at socket 1 , 10 and 11 and ground at 13 and a ground strap from the case to car . Fuse # 1 / 25 amp , # 8 / 15 amp , # 10 / 5 amp all trunk fuse box . Look for the 2 round cables to be installed if the 8 speaker wires in the group on the right side of the square connector are not installed . The power amplifier is in the trunk on the premium Daimler set up . It should be warm to the touch after turned on a while . 12 volts at connector socket 5 and 12 with grounds at 4 and 11 .

There is a Jaguar " Hard Reset " that will lose your radio security code sometimes ( anti - theft feature ) but will reset your master security ECU for the doors as I have done before but I didn't lose the radio code ( yet ) . The seat ECU along with others is reset by a button sequence on the radio head . I can't remember or find the 2nd reset other then the " Hard Reset " . Someone with more experience may be of more help then me . Is the radio round connector ( s ) other then the rectangle white connector and the ground strap and the antenna plug installed ? There seems to be a relation to each other and may have been tinkered with in the past and should be restored in a sequence order being radio first . Then remove the radio before " Hard Reset " . Long connection time " Hard Reset " does make a difference vs. short time . Do you have a fully charged battery of near 12.77 volts ? The " Hard Reset " will lose your engines regulation until it relearns it .
