Default Debating on buying a '94

First I already have an 04 xj8 but I stumbled across this 94 j6 at a local mechanic shop. He had replaced the fuel pump and the customer never paid so he has the title now. I don't really need it but I think it's too good to pass up at $1600. Is this as good'a deal as I think it is?

If it has no major issues it's easily worth the sixteen hundred. Looks to be rust free.

Heck, if it runs reasonably well, for $1600 you can't go too far wrong. It would be useful as a second car if nothing else. And I'm betting that a weekend of elbow grease would make a world of difference.

Cheers

From what I know, it starts and runs and there's no rust issues under the paint. It does need a serious bath an buff though.

I'm hoping the wife will end up enjoying it enough that I can get her off this 3rd row seat SUV idea... I'm gonna take it for a drive tomorrow so we'll see
