Default Diff oil level check.

Hi all, a couple of weeks ago I came across a thread, I'm not even sure if it was on this site, it was a guy with a x308 who had drilled a two inch hole in the forward wall of the spare tyre well which aligned with the diff fill\level plug which made filling and checking a breeze, well yesterday I done the same to my x300, and yes checking the level is now easy, you can bung the hole up with a rubber blind grommet when done, you still have to crawl underneath to change the oil especially if like me you don't have easy access to a ramp, you guys might already know of this little dodge if so excuse me, if not then it only takes half an hour or so.

A bit radical for me.

I dont find the checking of the diff oil all that bad, and whilst under there I get to have a good gander at all sorts of things that might be needing attention at some time in the future, before they break.

I really like the idea of being able to use gravity to help putting it back in. I only have a hand-operated pump and if the mileage for the oil change clicks over in the winter... man - I dread that job.
