Default diff output shaft bolts

hello. i am trying to get the output shaft off my 1996 xj.

I am trying to get the 5 bolts that hold the output shaft to the diff housing. i can not get them to move at all and i have rounding one of the bolts off. I am worried i will round all the bolts off and i will never be able to get it off.

they are torx bolts. the nearest i can get is an e14 torx. is this the correct socket size?

i have read that heating bolts will loosen the loctite. but will the heat weaken the shaft.

dose anyone have any ideas. thank you.

Welcome to the forum, neal. Heat is definitely called for. If you use oxy-acetylene don't try to turn them when the heads are bright red, you may twist them off. When you have time, please visit the new member area and introduce yourself. Link below:
