Is anyone aware of urethane bushes for X300?
I was talking to my mechanic yesterday, asking if he could do the rack in urethane but I will stick with rubber for the suspension.
He said he isn't aware of polyurethane bushes for X300 racks, although the different rack on series 1,2,3 does have them.
A quick search of the net just now hasn't found any..

 

NOPE.

The rack mount fiasco on the X300 is unique to that model. The brackets are vulcanised to the rack.

There are replacement rubbers for the XJ40, different.

There are replacement mounts for the X308, different.

There is s write here somewhere about thrust plates inserted beside the bracket and the rack housing, thus reducing/stopping the sideways movement.
