I posted a similar question in the Audio/Electronic area, but I was wondering if anyone has seen or has done substantial or highly eye catching work to there X300's. Looking for ideas or limits to what I can do to my XJR 1996

 

I haven't done anything for the interior on my XJ6 yet, but on my last vehicle (a '97 Maxima) I redid the whole interior with red LEDs. This required soldering LEDs and resistors directly onto the circuit boards. It was tedious work, and between the work required for dis assembly and the soldering (soldering took the majority of the time since the contact areas were VERY small) took 9 hours total. Below is a pic of how the Maxima looked. I've been thinking of trying the same with the XJ6 since the stock bulbs seem to go out quite often

 

Well... I just got my VDP yesterday so I haven't done anything yet but now that I learn that I pretty much have to re-wire the car (premium H/K system) I was thinking of doing a complete system...i.e. Head unit, front components, rear components, sub. I will post pics and info as soon as it is done and I reach 10 posts!!

 

Yeah that sounds good i was planning on doing the same thing once ive gotten some money together to pay for it

 

I wanted to replace all the speakers and the woofer. The head i wanted to replace with a motorized dvd head unit... idk if its possible I remeber seeing somthing like it in a Jag before
