Default Exhaust Manifolf Ceramic Coating

Is it possible to take the current manifold and have them ceramic coated for better cooling and to resolve any cracks and also prevent any future cracks. I know everyone is looking for stainless steel but the cost may out way the benifts.

I don’t see why not. They are held on by bolts to the engine block and then two donuts to the catalytic converter/exhaust pipes.

Now are you asking whether adding a ceramic coating will prolong their life? I would be skeptical, but I have no proof either way.

Figured it would disapate the heat better and cover up any hidden cracks seeing how they are almost impossible to find

When the cast iron exhaust manifolds crack. You will see them. Not sure anyone has ever reported any cracks as being difficult to see. The manifolds are covered, that’s why no one ever notices them.

Cool. I have hear good things about the ceramic coating and for a pair is about $250. They say about 50% improvement in heat and you actually get some performance improvement.
