Default FOB programming with Jaguar software

Hi guys,
Started this thread because driving with only one key fob makes me feel unsafe.

I tried to program the second key fob by pressing the right combination of valet key but it appears something wrong and the car simply does not jump to learning mode.
I will try to bring the car to car electric specialist to program the fob with software.
The guy told me the he is not very familiar with this car and jaguar software that he has might not work.
But its worth to try I guess , accept one problem I'm aware of - is it possible that after unlucky try to program the fob, my working fob would be erased from the memory.??

Anybody has a clue of trying this kind of operation? Thanks.

You have one working fob and a driveable car. I would use this combination to get to someone who has more self confidence.
