Default Front Bulb Fail modules

Since buying a 97 Executive model, Ive had the bulb fail light on the dash. Ive read through many pages of forum posts and see that the Bulb fail module can be the issue. I bought a "working" replacement unit from e-bay but for th elife of me I can't locate the BFM on the car.

Ive looked high and low. Posts seem to suggest that the modules are mounted close to th eheadlights but I dont see them.

Can someone who is all knowlegable take a quiclk phone pic for me and show me the error of my ways?

Thanks. The light drives me nuts.

Hi,
The bulb failure light on the dash usually refers to a defective bulb in the rear of the car, I may be wrong.

I would suggest first checking all your rear lights making sure that all connections are clean and tight including ground points. Also check the all the bulbs as well.

Hope this helps,

My car had the bulb failure light coming on occasionally as well

I just removed all the globes cleaned all the globe sockets with fine sand paper haven't had a problem since
I didn't know if the X300 models had the modules my old XJ40 had the control modules
