Default Front end parts

Hi,
I want to change the sway bars and bushings on my car. Any advice as to which ones I used use?
Thanks!

You have probably seen the discussion about the question of FIT for the Powerflex front lower bushings, and the truth has not yet been uncovered!

You have three options: Originals, aftermarket copies of originals, or Poly aftermarkets. Because the bushings take a beating, consensus is that the inexpensive aftermarket items are not the best choice for the ones under the most stress, while also being the most difficult to change: The front A-arm bushings and subframe mounts (if you go that far). You only want to have to do them once, so original items (which may require a press) or poly aftermarkets are good choices.

I admit to using Uro aftermarket sway bar links, they are fine, similar to the originals and easy enough to change out if they fail. Also their radiator mount rubbers are pretty good. The URO body mounts at the rear seem pretty good, like the originals. But last time I got Uro sway bar bushings, they were like jello. And their top shock absorber mounts are very hard. I didn't use either. Results will vary with OEM knock-offs.

A rear end improvement would be to add the monostrut in the rear, which come from X308s. It replaces the two dog-bone struts at the back of the differential. Beyond the monostrut it is possible to add a rear sway bar to an XJ6. A different differential tie brace would be needed. All these items have bushings in them that might be replaced too.

Turns out your question isn't so simple to answer! Lots of little decisions to make.

Before you go ahead it would be useful to confirm the suspension setup that your car has as this will determine the correct Sway/Stabilizer/Anti Roll Bar Bushes.
You will have either the Comfort or Sportspack. I believe that all N/A US cars have the Comfort option, whereas the Super Charged will have the Sports Pack.
These are the Jaguar part numbers

Comfort Bushes: CAC46517
Sport Pack Bushes: CCC2806

There is more information in the forum, a good start would be here

I overhauled my 97's suspension a few years ago and made the mistake of ordering the wrong bushes. (CCC2806 instead of CAC46517).
