Has anyone tried pulling their front seat apart to fix or replace the blow-up unit for the lumbar support? in my 2 cars I need to do this in 3 or 4 seats.I would probably ask an apolsterer to do it, but wondered if it is feasible..

 

I skinned one, but didn't venture below the foam. I don't remember the member's handle, but we had someone about a year or two ago who was swapping the foam and leather to a different frame, he may have some pointers, if you can find him.

 

I haven't tried to repair them, but as I recall the air pump and bladder are readily accessible once you remove the seat back. So it should be relatively easy to repair or replace.
