Just a quick question, I have the detailed instructions for the full front suspension removal, however, I just received my Uro front upper control arm bushings and want to tackle them first.
I know it can be done without removing the spring, however, are there any safety precautions I may not be aware of?
Also, are the bolts one-time-use or can they be re-used?
It's far easier with a press of course, but if you do it without a press you will need to take a lot of time.
Drilling out the rubber part, then push out the inner collar/hat. Gently cut the collar with jigsaw from inside and the tension will be released and you can pull out the bush wholly.
You could press in the bush with long bolt and nut method.
