Default gaining horsepower

Even in the time I've owned it, I feel my car has lost power. Is there any ways that I can restore some of the power that it used to have?

Hi there, I reckon all cars over time can lose some of their stock power and need looking at.
I'm no expert but believe that simple things such as making sure your air filter is clean ( if not renew it so the car can breathe )
Maybe a mini service to check / change plugs etc and a tune up could also help.
Is your exhaust system leaking?
Premium gas could be good for another few bhp too, dunno if you use it but worth considering!
All things to look for and check as far as I know but hopefully one of the more tech minded guys will be along to offer more advice shortly

Hello, I can't remember when you got the car, but are you sure that you have just not got used to it.

Try putting it in Sport mode and giving it a bit of a blast.

You could also check for sticky brakes (perhaps).

Best,

Run some Lucas gas treatment through it, make sure the air filter is clean. Also check out the throttle body and cables, that was hindering my power.

don't forget your fuel filter as well.

when I had my XJR it felt so starved,
replaced my fuel filter and it chirped tires through third gear (doing that ZF shuffle)
