Default First time Jaguar owner

What's up guys? My name is Austin Leach and I currently live in Boone NC. I have just acquired my first Jaguar and am really excited to see how it turns out. It's a 1988 XJS V12 with about 80k miles and needless to say it's gonna need some help. According to the previous owner, it was running about 5 months ago and then hit the fritz. It was quite clear that he was knowledgeable about cars and thinks it has something to do with the fuel relays. The body is in decent shape but the interior is quite rough. Needless to say I'm very excited to hopefully get it running by spring and hopefully pretty it up in a year or so. I'm very new to forums so please excuse anything I may do wrong and please let me know how to correct any issues. I'm eager to get to know some fellow car enthusiasts and hopefully gain some good info in my quest to salvage this beautiful car.

Thanks a lot GGG. The wreck wasn't as bad as it looks. Pretty sure I fixed the signature just now. I will definitely check out the area of the forum. Going to pick up the car in the next few weeks so gonna use this time to get used to the forum and do some research.

jerry_hoback, I really hope it will be as simple to fix as I've been led on to believe. Looking forward to learning about these v12s. Been a subaru guy for years so eager for the change.
