Garage Door opener in EU/UK?

I have an american roof console with buttons for garage door opener.

Did any European Member succeed to use such a GDO in Europe?

Is it possible to change a quartz in the module or is an European Modul available with the correct frequency?

The UGDO module

The UGDO (Universal Garage Door Opener) was only installed in the North american market. It scans transmissions in the 220Mhz-390Mhz frequency range. In europe and the UK there may be restrictions on the use of these frequencies.. In the final analysis it will depend upon the frequency range of the garage door reciever.
