Problem replacing the brake servo vacuum pipe
As I continue to revive my 95 XJ6 from 19 years of shoddy maintenance, I'm down to the last few things.
One of which is replacing the brake servo vacuum pipe which has a defective check valve and a leak at the connection to the manifold. The leak must have been there for quite some time and some bright spark decided the best way to fix it was to absolutely slather the connection with RTV
The RTV was not only all around the connection point but also deep down inside the sleeve making it very difficult to get the pipe out as I could not push the collet in to release it
Finally got it out and noticed that the collet itself was broken in several places. I have been looking online for a replacement (part number NBC3189AA) But cannot find one and JDHT says its NLA. SNG Barrett shows that it has been superseded NBC3184AA but this is just the sleeve? Am I missing something here? I have a new pipe and sleeve but it does not appear that the pipe will lock into the sleeve?
Any clues? Also is there a method to getting the existing sleeve out without dismantling the manifold?

An FYI for anyone about to replace the cartridge. It's a bit tricky to get out as it's pressed in but I found it was easiest to use an M12 tap to get purchase on the inside of the cartridge and then use a puller to extract the tap and cartridge in one. The M12 tap is perfect size, it cuts into the cartridge but does no touch the manifold bore.
