Default Garaged for three months

Putting car away for three months . Would there be any problems disconnecting the battery?

Connecting a battery maintaining charger is good, but disconnecting would be my preference. Just check the voltage before you reconnect to be sure it doesn't need charging.

My preference for extended garaging would be leaving it on a battery tender such as CTEK.

Second would be disconnecting the battery which will not do any harm. However, before doing this I'd make absolutely certain the luggage compartment unlocks with the key. Standing next to the vehicle in three months time with a fully charged battery ready to refit is not the time to find the lock is seized.

For that length of time I would agree to disconnecting altogether.

I would also pump up the tyres to around 45psi to avoid the dreaded flat spots, unless you are putting the car on stands.

CTEK all the time if you have someone, or are able to check on it periodically.

Irrespective if the battery is connected or not, it should be kept on a float charger.

Never put a car on stands letting the wheels hang- very hard on suspension bushings.

If it's safe to do so, leave the windows open slightly for ventilation. Lubricate the locks and give the car a wash and wax polish.
