Just got the car home from the transmission shop (prefer to do my own work but I'm swamped) . The rear oil galley plug was leaking a "Niagra Falls" of oil, upon inspection after the tranny was pulled the rear main had started to leak. So both these jobs (Moss Motors $25, Jag dealer $120 for the rear main seal, guess who I went with GEEZ!. Viton O-rings off Ebay for $20) and the Transgo HD2 Kit install were done. I can recommend this install for the 4L80E. J gate shifting is very strong (mild shift valves and washers used). Pretty pepy with manual shifting. Not the manual trans swap but I'm not 25 yrs old anymore and the wife can drive it on club runs.
