So i am swapping over my front hubs as my wheel bearings are shot and i have spare car.
i noticed on my driver that the ground strap near the wheel speed sensor is broken off and missing.
is this an issue?
what does it do?

One of mine is missing and always was, but I have not noticed any unusual behaviour on the side where it is missing.

Maybe it has something to do with the issues mentioned in the attached pdf.

thanks for that. missed that in all my reading I have done.
didn't have braided strap handy so replaced it with some electrical cable. certainly sounds like that will be more than good enough for purpose.

Somewhere along the line I picked up on was the strap was for no static buildup making the wheel bearings last longer

Sounds like a whole lot of &$(#@)$!&( , unless someone can explain
