had a crazy idea in my sleep...
a few monthes ago i replaced my speakers in my 1995 vanden plas because they werent working mostlikly because they had been sitting in the heat in palm springs. Anyways, i replaced the speakers with a coxal (tweeter mounted on speaker) system. the old tweeters are still in the car. i didnt hook them up to the reciver however. the other night i had a dream i hooked up the old tweeters in the car and they sounded fine. what is the likleyhood that the speakers were fried but not the tweeters? is there a way to tell besides just hooking them up and trying? i took a look at one of the tweeters and it appeared to be in much better shape then the speakers were. thoughts?

ok so to hook up the tweeters to the reciver do i just hook up the wire like: front left speaker to front left tweet, front right speaker to front right tweeter, ect. ? because i have been told i need an amp to do this but before on the stock deck they were just hooked up right to the deck.
