Hi everyone,

Proud new owner of a 1996 Xj6 - 66K miles, nice driving car so far. I have been really enjoying the vehicle, but - today I drive into the garage and notice the the headliner sags in the back all of the sudden.

What to do??

Just call a local headliner replacement company. They will do the job in the driveway or the office parking lot for about $300. Maybe a lot more or a little less.

 

I found a guy here in columbia who did it for $150, but I was getting the windshield replaced at the same time, so half the labour for him.
nothing to do really but replace it. I had to do it on mine. :/ but think of it this way; you can get it covered in any fabric you want. I redid the headliner in my '98 318ti with checkered. I think the only way I could've done it myself is because it's a hatch.
