Is there any concern replacing a cracked heated windshield (1997) with an unheated replacement? as far as electrical compatibility? I thought I read somewhere you could get into some electrical problems.

I am interested in this as well. Are all of our cars pre-wired for heated windscreen?

I can tell you that on other makes, replacing a non-heated windshield in lieu of heated never posed an issue at my shop and we did hundreds of windshield replacements back in Colorado.
