Default Hello, Just Bought....

As the title states I just purchased a 1995 Jaguar XJ6.
I have other vehicles I have or still am restoring. An '87 Corvette Convertible, a '91 GTA Trans Am and now a Jaguar.
I have a friend up north that owns Lars worldwide Automotive, formerly known as Jaguar Performance in Illinois.
I have heard good things from Lars about the x300's.
My XJ6 hasn't seen the road since late 2015, I think? The inspection tag (Brake Tag) expired 11/2015.
It has a few issues, that hopefully I can find solutions here and not be too much a bother to my friend Lars.
I will always check the "sticky's" before I ask a question.
I would post a pic of the car; however, technology is not my friend and I do not have a good pic yet.

Congratulations.
In my opinion the X300 was the best of all the late 20th century 'modern" Jags.
I have had the XJ6 S2, S3, XJ40 and X308.
ENJOY!

+1 on the X300. Took mine to more than 165K miles with very few issues.

I've had a similar selection with the exception of S3. The experience with my S2 was so bad that I gave the next model a miss!

A goggle will bring you tons of vids, some scary some entertaining and some informative. Try "XJ Jesse" search, he's a "entry level" repairs poster, with some good stuff. Here's a repair manual link.
