Just thought I'd post a couple of pics of my lovely new XJR. You'd never tell it was 12 years old...

Can anyone tell me what the proper description of the plastic "map" that shows where P-R-N-D-D-3-2 are on the J gate is called? The plastic has cracked and broken a bit at the top near P and it detracts a bit from the otherwise immaculate interior! I've been searching ebay for things like "J-gate surround", "gear shift trim", "gate trim" etc to no avail.

It's the illumination module. I have a used unit for $120.

 

I can't just replace the plastic cover then?

Thanks Ken. I'll have to leave it a while I think, I have more pressing demands on the wallet at present [sm=smiley21.gif], the rearview mirror has been epoxied into one (obviously incorrect for me!) position, so I need a new one of those before I tart up a minor trim part!
