HID conversion question.
I have a question about the HID conversion kits. I bought a 95 x300 a bit ago and have been kicking around the idea of converting my headlamps over to HID. My questions are?
1. Am i going to get a error code?
2. If i do get a error code do I have to put some type of resistor in the mix?
3.How are the headlamps going to hold up (Haze, Heat issues on the inners)?
Thanks.

Buy the ones that are canbus ready.
The heat is less than conventional bulbs so original light units will be fine.
Also look for ones with slim ballasts, it's finding a fixing point for these that is the real problem.

I had planned to do HID conversions on a couple of cars and bikes I have owned over the years
Problem is its not good to turn them off and on quickly can shorten lifespan dramatically so I thought what would be the point I.E. flash mode and short trips and cost
I eventually needed to clean my lenses as they seemed to be foggy after all the years I pulled them apart cleaned them with dish washing detergent and a bottle brush put some little blue parker globes and used some Philips night vision globes didn't increase the wattage just newer technology globes
I now have the white look from the blue parker globes and awsome hedlights if I was going to convert any lights to HID it would be the fog lights they can be switched on and off seperatly and dont have a passing flash feature in the end I just put 5000k super white globes in them works really well
