Any suggestions on hood alignment? Had it taken off to get it painted and they screwed up the alignment, left to right, and I dont want to take it back....long story

 

You need three people for it ideally. If you didn't take the hinges off the body, its easy, if you did, its hard. Undo the bolts, drop slowly, lift and repeat until you're happy with it. Its doable with two people, no chance on your own really.

 

it is a PITA.
i did it recently partially with 2 people and partially by myself.
would not recommend.

hood latches may also need alignment.
just as i thought i had it right realized one side sat up too high.

very super tint adjustment at the hinge equals to large error up near the latches.
its fairly easy as there is not many bolts to it.
but its big, heavy and awkward and fiddly
