Does the 4.0 have an inspection shield or something similar to check the flywheel? I have a new noise and it sounds like maybe a little pebble being jumbled around, coming from roughly the area where the motor and trans mate up.

Before I noticed the noise, the battery had drained. The car wouldn't start, after I pulled the key out I heard a pulsing for maybe 3 or 5 minutes. Popped the hood at the beginning and it felt like the fuel line / rail was vibrating. (MY hearing isn't good, so sounds are hard for me to nail down.) I went into the building to get a wrench to disconnect the battery, but when I got out, the pulsing had stopped. The battery had been drained completely by forgetting to turn the headlights off several times.


Any thoughts or suggestion on what to chase down are appreciated.

I have a video file with the noise on it, but it is 20MB. I don't have a domain or a program to downsize the file.
