RE: interior electrical
Possibly the body processor??? I'm not good with electrical issues, so get back up on this one. I suppose you would need to do some testing to see if you have more than one problem. The interior light may be caused by a bad or failing door latch and actuator. The wiper issue....hmmm.

RE: interior electrical
Electrical problems on a 90something XJ... i'm shocked.
Trying to be a little sarcastic there, sorry. That's one of a couple reasons why the earlier Jags are bashed so frequently. If you get proficient at troubleshooting the electrical issues in your ride, the toughest part is over. Keep your chin up, and we wish you the best of luck my friend.

Body Processor Unit
1995 XJ6 VDP
Can someone tell me where is located this Body Processor unit?
According to what I have seen here and there this could be the faulty part for all interior lights, trunk ligts, dash clock, cigar kighter not working
Thanks

Mine had the strobe interior light with the passenger door only also. Removed the lock assembly from the door (not too hard), buried deep inside that lock unit is the switch (small sucker) and it was giving terrible readings on the DVM. Cleaned with contact cleaner, over and over, the WD40 sprayed it, reading significantly better, all good 2 years down the track.
The body control module is behind the glove box panel (LH side of dash panel) on RHD cars, no idea on LHD.
I will be going into mine in the next few days, just because, and will Kodak what I see. I reckon the unit is behind a vertical metal plate, and what you see when the glove box is removed is the actual multi pin plug complete with clamping lever.
I will update here when I get it done, Kodaks and all.

I have no interior lights of any kind and all fuses are good
So I replaced the Body Processor Uniy but this did not solve the problem.
the former owner of the car had the driver's door lock pechanism replaced (a bad job because on that side the key is harder than hell to turn) the remotre is working.
Anyone has an idea if I should look inside that door for my lighting problem. And I have to see how to remove that dood manel as well ! ! !
I must admit I hae car electrical stuff
Thanks in advance
