Hi Everyone,

I have a 1996 LWB Jaguar Sovereign 4.0 and my left hand indicators have stopped working. All flashers on the left hand side are inoperative whether it is indicating or with the hazards on. The right side works fine. It is not the bulb or the fuse. An auto-electrician reckoned it is the small ECU just under the steering column, so I sourced one and tried this but it is not that. I tried the right hand indicators with this ECU disconnected and they still worked, so i am sure it is not this ECU.

I would be ever so grateful for any ideas as I'm going to have to scrap the car if I can't resolve this and I am getting lots of black looks at roundabouts when I turn left without indicating :-)

Any ideas gratefully received.

This was getting buried in General Tech section with no replies so I've moved it to the X300 section where (hopefully) more owners of the same model will see it and be able to offer advice.

If problem is with all indicators on one side, and same with Hazard and Indicator Stalk then I would suspect
1. Lighting Control Module - in boot fuse box near battery
2. Body Processor Module - behind passenger side glove box

You can get these cheap enough on ebay to just do a swap and see - certainly cheaper than scrapping the car for want of a light!

But check connections to them first. To identify them search on ebay for pictures.
