Default XJ6 Performance Chip

Has anyone bought the aftermarket performance chips from performancechiptuning.com? I don't want to get ripped off but I really want to chip my car.

I don't think I've ever seen a legit one for our X300's. the X300 ecu's aren't designed like the BMW E36 ones which are much more easily 'chipped'

I have successfully produced EPROMs with revised ignition and fuel maps for the the XJR6 which uses the same engine ECU hardware as an XJ6. The product that you have seen does not actaully appear to be reporgrammed EPROMs. Instead,it claims to somehow change the behaviour of the ECU via the diagnostic port. I worked on the developmewnt of this ECU and I don't know how this could be achieved in the way that is suggested.
