Default Leak from power steering

My old 1996 Sovereign 3.2 is leaking fluid from the power steering system. It looks to be coming from where the high pressure hose leaves the cylinder. Really difficult to visualise. I can’t find either the part number or picture of the high pressure hose. Any help welcome.
Can it sometimes be a rubber ring that has perished?

These extracts from JEPC (Jaguar Electronic Parts Catalogue) may help you identify the names of the parts required:

Depending on where it leaks you could get lucky and just need to replace an o-ring, though if its at the union from PS-pump to high pressure hose, there is no o-ring there - o ring is only at the connection to the rack. (and to the radiator for the low pressure hoses)

just as a side note, i have had really bad luck with aftermarket power steering hoses, so after having had two aftermarket high pressure hoses burst on me i recommend you buy an OEM hose - the aftermarket ones are not up to spec and cant handle the pressure.

Thg old hoses clamping under the PS reservoir get squished and start to leak

From there it migrates everywhere and may look like your rack area

You can cut off an inch of the original hose to have better material to reclamp

Thanks Parker7. I live in Barbados and if I can avoid the hassle of trying to get a new hose, so much the better.
