Hi
My wife just bought me the hood ornament for my X300 as a birthday present. So I guess, now I have to install it. Could someone help me to put it to a correct place? So, what is the correct location of the leaper?

A few words of caution here:
(a) even factory original leapers have different versions - the anchoring holes may vary in distance, so you may have to drill new holes on the hood to match.
(b) aftermarket leapers are cheaper but have a flat base (factory originals have a curled base that matches the curvature of the hood - refer to (a) above).
