hey guys i seem to have a number of things wrong with my 95 xjr so i will go one at a time . first off the power seems to fade in and out while driving. this sometimes goes away but at other times it makes the car almost undriveable. any ideas would be welcome. cheers

 

I presume you're talking about engine power and not electrical power.

Does this happen under heavy throttle? Steady, light throttle? Any relationship to engine temp? Has the check engine light been coming on? Does the engine remain smooth or does it misfire, buck, etc?

More specifics, please :-)

yep its engine power mate. it happens at all temps and will eventually smooth out after about 60 miles. the only warning light i have had was the gearbox light in the top left corner of the instrument cluster but that went off after about 3 mins and hasnt been seen since.
