Looking at a 1996 X300R
title says it all, I'm looking at one with 150,000KM. I've got the buyers guide and have read the FAQ, and am not new to cars. Just looking for any advice that an owner wants to give before I drive a few hours to check her out?
And the pictures are terrible, but this is what was provided in the add, as I've yet to see her. But I know I hate forum posts with no pictures, so they've been included anyway.

The buyers guide covers the high points. Of course all the generic used car buying advice applies: look for major leaks, smokey exhaust, vibrations at highway speed, ask for service invoices, etc.
Don't be surprised if you get some tramlining on your road test. It's a known (and unfortunate) XJR/6 trait.
Cheers

Seeing as many jags advertised for sale as I have seen, I think $6,000 is a little on the high side for this car. He says it idles very high but gives no reason. Also says repainted but gives no reason. Looks sharp though.
