Norri, there are two spams at the end of the abs module repair thread on the X308 forum. Looks like a trend.

Also gone, one post from the same guy that was here the other from a different member with the same IP address.
Well, more interesting news about the oil pan hole. I did not run over anything that put a hole in the pan, what put the hole in the pan came from inside the engine. That would explain why I did not see or hear anything hit it from the road. Apparently, the person who installed the timing chains, did not tighten one of the tensioner bolts, and it worked its way free, and hit the timing chain and the timing chain spit it out the oil pan, or tried to. So, now the mechanic is going to take the front cover off, and replace the tensioner, and possibly the front cover.
Also found out an interesting tidbit. There is no oil pan gasket. I bought the oil pan off eBay, and could not find a gasket there, so I bought one from Autozone, they did not have it in stock so they sent it to me via UPS. I never opened the box until this past weekend, and found out the gasket they sent is for a Chrysler V8. I checked their website for the part number, and sure enough the part number they give for a Jag 4.0 liter oil pan gasket is the same one they sent me. My mechanic called a Jaguar dealer, and was told it does not use a gasket, one is made using a can of "The Right Stuff" by Permatex. Interesting that Autozone would not know that. And even more interesting that they would think a Chrysler V8 oil pan gasket would work. (It won't, it is about 6 inches too short.) Needless to say I will be making a trip to Autozone today. It has been two months since I bought the gasket, so I don't expect a refund, but it would be nice for them to fix their computer system so nobody else runs into this problem.

A loose bolt inside the engine. Frightening. Why are PO's such Nimrods?
Autozone + Jaguar = ???
