Default Replacing O2 Sensors

So, my CEL comes on and says I need to replace a few O2 sensors, one in bank 1 and the other in 2. Problem is the cable for the new ones aren't long enough to reach the connectors for bank 2. Is there an adapter I can buy to extend the cables? I'd rather not extend the wires and have 8 connections that could potentially fail.

Which O2 sensors did you get? I bought NTK's off Rock Auto and the wire was plenty long enough. You can also take the harness connector off the body clips and leave it loose, that will give you a few more inches.

Hmm, perhaps it's the brand on sensor? The Bosch sensors I use fit fine.

Also I'm assuming your sensors are oriented such that the rear sensors connect by the bulkhead behind the engine and the forward sensors connect to the blocks on the nearside wing?

Jagboi, I ordered what I assume are the same NTK from Rock Auto. The cables are long enough to reach the front connectors, but not long enough to reach the rear.

Allan, yes.

Hmmm very odd? They should be plenty long enough. Perhaps you should call Rockauto and double check the item number? They do have very good customer service
