Default lowbeam question... X300

hi everyone. I have a couple questions to to ask. I purchased 2 lowbeam headlamps off of ebay from the UK, thinking they were Highbeam lamps. But when I received them, they were lowbeam lamps. It said inner lamps when I bought them, thats why I thought they were the highbeam. But now, I came up with a idea if it works. I wanted to run all lowbeam lamps throughout the car. I was wondering if there is a way to wire all of the beams together, that way when I turn my headlights on, all 4 of them come on at once. So that would eliminate my highbeams then. Anyways, I have a HID system thats really bright, so I wouldnt need the highbeams anyway. If anyone has done this, or knows anything about doing it, please get back to me ASAP, thanks.

No. You should not do what you suggest. UK low beams(dipped beams) have a light pattern for RHD roadways. You will blink other drivers since the US is LHD.

Your best solution is to file a "goods not as described" complaint at ebay and proceed from there. Many of the UK sellers are scrap yards doing high volume. You probably got the short end of the stick on an honest error.
