I looked at a 96 XJ6 that appears to be in very good shape. It was always garaged and was supposedly dealer maintained. The original owner is elderly and her daughter now uses the car occasionally, but she does not believe the records were kept. Is it possible for me to obtain the information from any dealer, or does the owner have to do this. I have the VIN.

 

Any dealer can access Jaguar's *warranty* records for the car.

Records for non-warranty repairs/service are not kept in a common/dealer network data base.
