Any interest in a "Jaguar" logo pool ball shift knob?

I discovered the shift knob just unscrews on the XJ.

I thought a billiard ball shifter might feel nice and could be interesting and easily reversible.

The Solid #6 (XJ6) is green, #8 is black for an XJ8, Cue ball white. Then I spotted the NFL logo *****.....and wondered what the Jaguars Logo looked like.

I have a machine shop in my garage. I can make threaded inserts and drill the ***** and glue them into place.

 

Clear with a leaping jaguar would be cool . Or the British flag , no disrepect

 

You find the ball....I'll drill the hole and make the adapter. There are a ton of custom ***** and sports teams.

 

Ordered the second ball above.

Measured the shift shaft today. 8 x 1.25mm coarse thread.

Will have done by weekend.

 

Turns out I had the proper helicoil in the garage already...

So I gave it a shot.












I did use a permanent marker to black out the Jaguars blue tongue. I guess that is the way it is on the football logo.

Feels great! Has a vintage vibe to it and a Jag on it. All you need to swap out is a wrench for the locking nut on the bottom. SO reversible too!
