Had to get up early and take the wife to airport. 29f, warmed up car ('95 XJ6 4.0l) turned on heat (auto) fans blow cold air with eng. temp at N. ?? Now what do I do or look for. Pretty sure with temp n, it's not a stuck thermostat. Any suggestions anyone?

When mine was only blowing cold air turned out to be as simple as a blown fuse under bonnet... in a right hand drive car it was the left hand fuse box.. look for a fuse "heater blower" or heater something.

Hello locogringo. Not a nice time to find out you have no heat!! I hope it is simply a fuse and that will be that. If you need to look further, check the "No Heat Issue!" thread here in the X300 forum...

A bit of reading there, but it's worth it if needed! Let us know what you find... I may well need to get into mine again some time and the more info the better!

It could be:

-The heater pump or it's fuse
-air in the heater core circuit
-a bad heater control valve
-clogged heater core
-bad climate control module
-bad actuator motor that controls a blend door

I'm sure there might be more
